Bridal Shower Invite
2023.06.07 01:52 nunuvyrbznis Bridal Shower Invite
I received a text today from the fiance (my nephew) of the bride to be. It had a PICTURE of the bridal shower invitation and then he sent a text saying it was for me and my daughter with the vibe of the text like "this is happening if you wanna come. no big deal if you can't." I won't put the exact wording because it would be my luck that he or his f would be here š My question is, is this the norm nowadays? I'm a gen x-er so I'm not super picky about it, but I found it sort of rude. Mind you, this kid gives ONE WORD responses to both in person "conversations"(I use this term loosely) and texts. I have received party/shower invites via email from one of those online party sites but never just a text with a photo of the actual paper invite. We are going but only because they always come to our events, albeit they don't talk to us at them or otherwise. (it's like pulling teeth) They aren't "bad" kids, just really, really rude & self centered. They absolutely have no manners whatsoever. We always have to remind them to call us by "Aunt" or "Uncle". and by them, I mean him and his sister, not the bride to be, who literally doesn't acknowledge us when we are around. Thank you for reading if you even got this far š

2023.06.07 01:11 blueline37 Double dose of Greg for me today
I listen to It's Super Effective every week now thanks to a previous guest appearance by Greg on Exp Share. Truly that podcast is the only way I learned how to do 5+ star raids in Pokemon Violet because the game does not do ANYTHING to teach you (despite the fact that your character literally goes to a school...) and the hosts are all great.
Today I had a double dose of Greg! I was on vacation yesterday so I caught up on It's Super Effective this morning. When it was over, the new Exp Share was available!
He's also convinced me to go buy the DLC and check out the part that is level-appropriate right now. That will make the Pokemon Center nurse stop telling me about the rare Pokemon I can see at Wedgehurst Station, after all, lol

2023.06.07 00:56 mexicadean Asked my ecrush to be gf at said the sky (EDC LV 23)
Been going to uni on the east coast, just getting by down in lil rhodey where I find myself joining the closest thing to Frankenstein of an edc group. We start out this fairy tale with the new england cast (all of which nvr been to edc): my rave homie for the past year, his roommate, his gf from another school (who btw still has school until mid juneeeee wtf) and me. The LA cast also all in uni made of the liaison and her 4 friends. Rewind to the fall, before this is even kickstarted, work calls and my homie is called into NYC, met a colleague, and before you know it the two are already talking up a storm bout insomniac's greatest event of the year ⦠without doubt, EDC LV. Upon dedicating their respective party people to embark on the birth of a new rave family, no one can deny neither how far fetched nor flat out one of the most lenient investments of trust any of us could ever give. In currency, however, the two exchanged photos of his roommate and I as well as photos of her friends. The chase was on, those who wish to participate stick their neck out v far all in hopes of finding something lasting past the weekend. Yet, I can't help but think that in these most improbable of moments, the universe just happens to send someone your way ⦠in due time. Before you know it, she reaches out.
Fast forward to the end of our salutations, we talk get to know each other, graduate to ft and spend many hours throughout the course of a month figuring out how we like to occupy time together, how we converse, and how we react. Almost as if she and I took a pulse on what vibed and what didn't. It goes by painfully slow, day in and out trying to close out the end of my semester. Nevertheless, we await the day we are scheduled to meet in person. If everything goes as planned, she and the rest of the gals driving up from LA, check in to the Airbnb and pick us up at the airport the next day DDD: scary. Yet, it follows through, after traveling already close to 6 hours to vegas, the party was just getting started the moment we landed. Greated with shots, the warm vodka scraped the walls of my throat only to be received by a chaser that had more alc IN it ⦠argh oh well, might as well get fucked up. Step 2 completed.
After navigating the usual congestion of opening day, both her and I strangely feeling v lovey dovey. There was some energy in the air that I couldn't have imagined before this night. We go to a few sets, enjoy our time out together, and end up at said the sky. Climbing up to the bleachers one by one, the edc skyline begins to emerge the tops of every stage starting to appear further and further until we find our seats center stage. After what felt like only but a moment after the start of the set, my ears begin to thump as I hear the fireworks go off across the electric sky. And as if I wrote the script to begin with, a light rain begins to fall. Nothing but a drizzle, yet I pull out an e blanket to share. With a rush of what felt like a pure flow state, I effortlessly said the words which I'd never felt so compelled to say before in my life. As rush over me approaches its apex in the background, hiding under the veil of the blanket, I ask her to be my gf. With a smile erupting from her face, no amount of mdma could reproduce the moment she said yes. Core memory to be guarded forever.

2023.06.07 00:48 Valuable_Term108 Should I take this assignment?
Iām on the fence about this assignment. Iām a peds nurse, and summer is the hardest time to find a job. I applied to about 20 other positions before this, so Iām worried I wonāt get another if I turn it down.
Itās in Selma, Alabama at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Pay is just under $2k gross a week. Through AMN- I was trying to switch to another agency but Aya seems to have more people applying to every job so more competitive.

Has anybody visited the Jaguar Rescue Center animal sanctuary, and if so how was the experience?
I have visited the Toucan Rescue Ranch in San JosƩ (highly reccomend, they do a beautiful job taking care of and rehabilitating injured animals to the wild), but since I will be staying on the caribbean side next I thought about visiting another sanctuary.

2023.06.06 23:28 HamwichSandwich m19 lost weight unhealthily 2 years ago and gained some of it back need advice on how to keep it off and look better overall
for context i m19 5ā10 210 (currently) have bipolar disorder and have suffered from BED (binge eating disorder), bulimia and body dysmorphia for a long time something i went to treatment for and have since been on a journey of overcoming. In 2021 i got put on bipolar medication and one of the side effects of this medication or one of the realizations i got out of it was that i was a 235 lb 17 year old who didnāt know how to eat properly, didnāt take care of himself, and was constantly making himself sick in a vain attempt to cure what i thought the main problem was (my weight). I realized i needed to make a change.
In the months following that epiphany i had about my life i lost 50 lbs, with my lowest weight being 183 in october of 2021 down from my highest weight of 235 in april of that year.
The way i lost weight wasnāt the healthiest it was a lot of behaviors that i wouldnāt recommend and that iām very lucky didnāt take as much of a toll on my health as they could have, such as stimulant and laxative abuse, going on eating disorder twitter and hoping that the people there would call me a fat f*** and give me the motivation i (thought i) needed to lose 50 lbs. This worked in the short term but was absolute hell for my self esteem.
At the end of the day i never reached my goal weight of 180 and instead of looking good i looked sickly and pale.
(pictures included in another post that i will link to soon)
Not to give too much detail but i ended up having to go to a rehabilitation center for my eating disorder where they helped identify the reasons behind my purging and it helped but i gained back to around 205 (because it was winter and they didnāt let us do any physical activity or go outside at all, i can explain further in the comments) when i got out and i was- well not as devastated as i thought iād be. But still, it did feel like a step backwards.
I ended up going to an outpatient program after and through just eating consistently breakfast lunch and dinner and walking a lot (cardio seems to be my thing) i went back down to 190.
I stayed at 190 for about 4 months until my doctor switched me off one of my medications and the binge purge cycle started to creep itself back up after a couple weeks. I was drinking a lot of milkshakes at this time. I went up to 215.
My doctor recently prescribed me a new medication about 2 weeks ago that has suppressed my appetite a lot and as a result of that plus consistent work in the gym this past 5 days i have lost 5 lbs.
Iāve included some pictures of me at various weights including now, pre āepiphanyā, and the 2 ish years i flip flopped between the different weights.
I need advice, any advice, on how to cut back and gain muscle, maybe what look/build i should go for based off my stats and how i look.
Iām willing to be
loseitās personal project, i feel i have potential, but i also have no clue what iām doing in the gym or with the food i eat, etc.
For reference of what iād like to go for im really into 70s/60s bohemian or disco clothing and attire, but i also like the hippie or grunge aesthetics (ik they are very different) (well except for the dirt).
TLDR: I want to be
loseitās pet project or at least i want some advice that can help get me where i want to be. Any advice at all, gym wise or other wise is appreciated

2023.06.06 21:57 almeidaromim Linux Mint focused course, for real dummies.
TLDR: Need help finding a good free/budget course with visuals (video/pictures) to help build a foundation and break the entry barrier of a TOTAL beginner. Linux Mint centered would be best.
Hi all, Im no tech savvy but I am an avid learner and like most people migrating to Linux I've been using Windows for all my life.
I was wondering if the community could point me in the right direction to break entry barrier of into the Linux world. Im a better visual learner, so I figured if there were video lessons it would help me in the beginning of this journey.
I have already installed a dual boot of Linux Mint/Windows 10 and I have the basic knowledge of windows, but never touched Linux before.
What do I want from Linux: - Honestly, I still dont know. I love the idea of freedom, and would like to learn about the possibilities this OS has to offer.
What do I need from Linux: - My daily needs are pretty basic: other than the usual internet browsing and video streaming I do some light photo editing (Gimp is already my go to app) and some light retro game emulation (already dipped my toes in Batocera)
Im sure I would be fine learning "by ear" what I need from a computer, but I would really love to learn about what this environment can do and find my spot in it.
Yes, I know there is a ton of information out there, and "just google it" would be your first advise. But all I found were paid courses (wich I would gladly spend the money in it if I knew it was good) or lessons that presumes you have some basic Linux knowledge.
I dont know if you remember those "Computer classes" parents put their kids in the 90s, but that's pretty much what Im looking for. An introduction for absolute beginners.
It would be just to get me started, once I know what Im dealling with it would be much easier to filter for information online.
Thank you all!

2023.06.06 21:30 v4mpeira [F4A] Looking for long-term RP partners for all sorts of fandoms!
Hello!
I am (19, female) and am looking for some new roleplay partners & RP centered around some fandom universes below. At the minute, I am looking to write as canon female characters in either
FxM or
FxF pairings.
My preference for pairings tends to be
Canon/Canon but I also have no problem doing
Canon/OC! About Me / What I Am Looking For I write in the third-person, past tense, and consider myself literate. I have done both quick-fire and novella- length stories but prefer something somewhere in the middle. Medium-length replies that keep the story moving forward, while providing the other with opportunities to react. My sweet spot is somewhere between two and five paragraphs, per reply. But I am happy to do less or more; depending on your preference and what the scene requires.
Please: nothing one-sided. Be invested when it comes to plotting. Thereās nothing worse than receiving one sentence in reply to two paragraphs of ideas, or having a doormat partner who says āsureā to whatever I suggest. I love to build ideas on top of the other, incorporating all our ideas. But having to pull plot ideas myself makes me think youāre not interested, and I will loose interest in return.
I adore tropes. They are popular for a reason, right? Some of my favorite tropes include: * Enemies to lovers (anything along the lines of initial distrust is great); unlikely allies. * Hurt/Comfort, Angst. * Polar Opposites; characters who come from different worlds. * Redemption/Corruption * Aftermath of war: Punishment, Rehabilitation, Rebuilding. * Trauma Bonds/Unfortunate Circumstances * Betrayal/Revenge * Quests/Missions * SlowBurns
Here is a list of fandoms along with the characters I can write as in them: Video Games The Last of Us (Ellie Williams).
Resident Evil: (Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, Ashley Graham).
Detroit: Become Human (Kara, Chloe, North).
Movies/Shows/Books Marvel (Gwen Stacy, Natasha Romanoff, Felicia Hardy, Wanda Maximoff, Mary Jane Watson, Jean Grey, Emma Frost).
DC (Harley Quinn, Kara Danvers, Dinah Drake, Selina Kyle, Diana Prince, Zatanna Zatara).
Harry Potter (Hermione Granger).
Star Wars (Ahsoka Tano, Leia Organa, Bo-Katan Kryze, Padme Amidala).
The Boys (Annie January, Margaret Shaw).
I am pretty much fine with any pairings for these characters! Please know that I am more than willing to welcome any idea you might have.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, or you think we might get along, please, do not hesitate to message me!

2023.06.06 21:18 AstralRose555 Middle School makes me pay bogus obligations
My middle school is making me pay these bogus obligations, despite the fact that Iām not even supposed to have to pay them. They are charging so much for these stupid obligations, that it is almost 1000 dollars. I just cant believe why they are doing it, and now it just added onto alot of other matters my family has to worry about. Hereās what happened:
So a little TL:DR, I live in an area in florida. I go to a school named, āEagles Landing Middle School.ā I have just finished 7th grade, and as I am writing this post, I am currently just starting summer break.
My mom works as a nurse at the local medical center, but her shift starts at 8:30, and my middle school starts an hour later.
My middle school has this thing called, āThe Morning Program.ā Basically, parents have the option to sign up for their kids to go into school an hour earlier if it was either more convenient for them or if the child wanted to. I was the first one, as morning program started at 8 am, while my mothers shift starts at 8:30 am.
There is a staff member that watches us almost every day that morning program is held.
On the first day, the teacher of morning program said this message, āIf you have free or reduced lunch, you do not have to pay any morning or after school feesā Well, I got lunch every day, and they never ask for money from me, or from alot of other kids, so it is pretty obvious everyone to most people got free/reduced lunch.
But this is where it startās to get frustrating. About halfway throughout the school year, my math teacher was handing out these white packets.
As I read the packet, my blood started to ever so slowly boil.
I donāt remember exactly what it said, but it was something like this:
āDear parent or guardian:
Your child has outstanding obligations. These obligations must be payed as soon as possible.
If these obligations are failed to be payed, your child may lose the oppurtunity to attend extracurricular activities such as field trips, dances, etc. ā
As soon as I read that part, I was like, āWhat obligations!ā āI am certain that there is no fines that I owe, right?ā
Then, I checked the list of obligations I owe, and one of them made me lose it.
Registration Fee: 6$.
Now, this one was reasonable, and I could pay that pretty quickly.
But the next one is the main reason on why I am writing this post.
Morning School Program: 486$.
I froze when I read the dollar amount. I couldnāt believe it.
The school was making me pay money for my Morning Program, despite the fact that I wasnāt even supposed to have to pay them, because I had free/reduced lunch, which is what the morning program teacher said.
I immediently went to talk to the morning program teacher, because I thought something was up.
And rather than helping me, she just said something like this, āIf you wish to remove those obligations, you must give me a letter saying that you are entitled to free/reduced lunch.ā
What letter? They never gave us any letters, nor did they post one in our google inboxes!
So she was telling me, that if I was to remove my obligations, I had to give her a letter, despite the fact that me and a bunch of other students never got one. This just made me so angry, but I got more angry after realizing something.
My family already has a lot of stuff on their shoulders financially.
Here are most of them:
Our Washer and Dryer are broken, and to fix them would cost around 1000$.
Prices of food and other stuff, including gas has risen up drastically, while my mothers income level is still the same.
Because of all of this, I have overheard my mother saying that she might have to start taking a second job as well, because she said, āWe Need The Money.ā
And now because of these stupid obligations, they have even more problems to worry about, and now it probably just slightly harder for them!
I thought things couldnāt get any worse. That is until later into the year, my civics teacher was handing out a familiar white packet. Sure enough, it was another paper stating I have obligations, and the ones listed on that paper were around the same fees as before.
Then, I just sat there stunned. Now, I owe almost 1000 dollars to the school, most of that money Iām not even supposed to have to owe.
And to add on to this, the morning program teacher told us that if we donāt have our obligations payed, we will not be able to register for morning program next year.
Thatās when I ready to lose it. Are you telling me, that if I donāt pay some stupid obligation, that I canāt register for a simple program to stay at school for an extra hour?!
This post as I wrote it was just so blood boiling. Not only do I have to pay some dumb obligations that I am not even supposed to owe, but now the school is depriving me of registering for morning school, all because they donāt want to check if I have free or reduced lunch, despite the fact that I clearly do. Instead, they demand me send them a stupid letter, that they never even gave out!
You guys might think I am overreacting, but I dont care. I just needed to get this out of my system.

2023.06.06 20:38 thatsinkguy My Experience so Far (Dr. Ramineni, DC)
Long post, important information.
Hey so I wanted to post here about my top surgery experience so far as I havenāt seen too many people talking about Dr. Praful Ramineni too much here, and felt it would be important to document for any friends pursuing top surgery with him.
First off, he was recommended to me via a friend who got top surgery with him, and another friend went with Dr. Cassie Nghiem (same plastic surgery office and surgical center). Both are excellent surgeons with fantastic results + reputations. Going into my consultation was very easy, but be ready to provide your insurance (if you have any), ID, payment method, and I highly recommend bringing your therapistās referral on the day of consultation as it will make the process go to much faster.
The office is very nice and they were able to get me in and see me very quickly, a bit before my appointment time. It is important to ask him lots of questions as he will explain the procedure and what you qualify for, but doesnāt go too in depth about scar options, placement options, etc. My advice is to ask about those aesthetic options on the first appointment, even though I didnāt. I asked about common complications, pain management strategies (as I didnāt want to take opioids), and post operative care and treatment options. It is important to note any pre-existing medical conditions/neurological conditions as it may affect the surgery.
After that consult, because I was able to provide documentation from my psychiatrist regarding the surgery, he immediately gave me a date, May 30th.
Important thing to note is that my friend had previously struggled with insurance issues at his office so emailing their insurance team and getting in contact with your insurance to see how much it will be is very important. I will admit I am still in the blind about the true amount I owe. The surgical center bill was around $800 with my insurance (BCBS) and that is not counting the separate bill for Dr. Ramineni or the anesthesiologist, so do keep that in mind.
I got my pre-op instructions two weeks before my appointment and was also called by Glen Echo Surgical Center staff in order to verify the price I would be paying that day as well as my previous medical information that might be pertinent to the surgery. They were super helpful over the phone and the pre-op instructions were very clear. I received my post-op meds around the same time.
Day of, the worst part was the wait. Got there a bit early so it was partially my fault, but they were also running a little behind. I needed my ID, form of payment, insurance card, and proof of vaccination. Paperwork was easy, and eventually I was pulled in to get ready. The woman helping me through pre-op was named Barbara and she was extremely sweet and calmed my nerves a lot. Essentially the process is: pee in a cup, get disrobed and in a gown, take the meds the pre-op nurse gives you, and then get the heart monitor and IV hooked up. Easy peasy.
Like I said, my appointment was late and I was unsure as to why but too excited to really care. The anesthesiologist came in and asked me questions to ensure he would be able to provide correct dosages and explained to me that while I would be under, they would intubate me. After this, Dr. Ramineni came by, asked me a few questions, and at this point he asked āany special requests?ā to which I didnāt understand what he meant, and said āno.ā
This is the time where I should have showed him pictures of placements or physiques I liked, but due to this misunderstanding, didnāt. Iām not super upset about this, as I know he has great results, itās just one of those miscommunication things that might impact potential overall satisfaction for the surgery. (please keep in mind I am still wearing the surgical binder and have been unable to see my results yet, though iāve peaked under a little and am pretty satisfied with nipple placement and whatnot.)
Staff at Glen Echo were more than kind and helpful upon returning from my surgery and offered me drinks to help wake me up from anesthesia. I cracked jokes in my half-awake foggy brain and they all laughed alongā spirits were high and it was an excellent experience. I was able to go home within that hour and recovery since has been very smooth.
One thing I am very grateful for is the swiftness at which Ramineni and his staff respond to emails and questions. I once emailed him concerns about my drainage outputs at 9:30pm (felt a bit bad about that) and he was still very quick to answer.
I will make an update post on Thursday, as that is when I see my chest for the first time and get the drains removed! If you have any questions, feel free to AMA! this is mainly for my Virginia/Maryland/DC friends seeking out top surgeons in the area!

2023.06.06 20:13 Appropriate_Mix280 Me again!
Ok! After the MRI results appointment we set up a surgery date. They also set up a CT scan to check lymph nodes. Well the orchiectomy is Monday 6/12. The doctor wants to see what pathology comes back as but will be sending a referral to the Moffitt center in Tampa. The CT results came back. Unfortunately, there are no open appointments before surgery to see the doctor to go over them. I called, he tried but was put on hold for 15mins, asked for someone call my husband to let him know if it was good news or bad news. The results said that they found two lung nodules, one in the right, one on the left. But the nurse that called my husband said they werenāt of concern, and that the NP will send in a referral to pulmonology. Iām not a big fan of the nurse practitioner personally. That has seem to make my husband less anxious, but it only made me more anxious, like something is slipping through the cracks. I guess because Iām confused on what a lung nodule is versus a lymph node. Yes I googled, still didnāt help. Iām just a bit confused why these arenāt of concern and we have no answers, which is why I wasnāt happy with the appt we had with her before. We will be asking the doctor all of these questions when we see him on Monday but I wanted some first-hand experience. Thanks!
Just wanted to add that a nurse called my husband, she was relaying the notes from the nurse practitioner. He was unable to ask any questions.

2023.06.06 19:55 Embarrassed-Mail-115 Rehabilitating Student Loan Default - Confused About What Happens to My Credit Report
I'm currently a full time student and have been for the entire duration I've had my student loans. I was an idiot and forgot to confirm my registration status with the National Student Loans Service Center last year, and due to my contact information being out of date, I wasn't aware that my loans had entered repayment until I received a phone call from a collections agency informing me that I had defaulted on them.
None of this has hit my credit yet. I followed the incredibly helpful advice in
this post and have started the rehabilitation process for both the Federal and Provincial (ON) portions of the loans. The federal process was a quick call to the CRA collections department and a lump sum payment of $440 and the debt should be transferred back over to the NSLSC next week. However, the Provincial portion of the loan went to a private collections company and they are giving me a little more grief.
They informed me that the debt has to stay with them for a minimum of 2 months before it can be rehabilitated, even if I make a lump sum payment like I did with the CRA. Furthermore, they told me that I only have until the end of the month to pay off the full balance (~$8,000) or else it will show up on my credit report. They said that this debt going to collections
will continue to show up on my credit report and will impact my credit score even after I rehabilitate the loan, so it would be best to find some way to pay off that balance any way I can to avoid that.
I have some scholarship funds coming in that would be enough to cover this balance, but I'm obviously suspicious of their advice. My questions are:
- Is what they are saying even true? Does rehabilitation remove the default status from my credit report, but still inform potential creditors that the loan went to collections at some point?
- The much larger Federal portion of the loan also went to collections, and I can't pay that off in full. Does that mean I'm still going to be fucked by this even if I pay off the Provincial portion?
I'm feeling very, very stupid for this happening and would appreciate any input I can get.

2023.06.06 19:54 Plenty_Spring8462 Anyone Ever Work Preop Evaluation Center?
There was a job opening for a preop eval center. Just curious if anyone ever worked in one as a nurse before. Itās not being a preop nurse in surgery. Itās a preop evaluation nurse. Iām a preop nurse right now.
The job role is essentially ensuring that preop testing has been conducted and that the patients anesthesia team has access to all essential information on the day of the surgery. So I think a lot of chart checking and phone calls.
Anyone have experience with this? Do you like it?

2023.06.06 19:53 ped0ph0be Does anybody know much about the profit margins of running/owning/operating a detox clinic?
Hey everyone, I'm in my final ten months of school, only left with completing clinical hours before I graduate. Twenty years ago, I used to work at a drug and alcohol recovery center while in nursing school, I worked there for about 4 years and loved it. I loved getting to know the individual clients' backgrounds, their stories, their families, how they became addicted, etc.
After completing nursing school, I knew I wanted to help out the mentally ill since it was the closest thing to working with the detox clients from the facility I enjoyed working for. Also, I have a BA in psychology that I completed prior to nursing school so psychiatry was gonna be my thing no matter what. Add to that, my mother was a psychiatric nurse for over 30 years and held various roles and responsibilities throughout her career. I feel like it was just meant to be.
Fast forward to the current day. I've been a psychiatric nurse for 14 years now (and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I LOVE what we do and I look forward to going to work) and am preparing for the inevitable transition to becoming a PMHNP. I'll be precepting at a detox clinic next month with a former coworker of mine who got his PMHNP about three years ago. The place he works for (we live in California) is owned and operated by another PMHNP. I went over their website and didn't see any mention of an MD being involved in any oversight capacity. I do believe it's all ran by the PMHNP at the top.
The business has six properties which serve different purposes. Two are houses-turned-residential-detox-clinics, the others are for outpatient services, groups, etc.
My question to the
PMHNP community is this: does anyone have any insight into what all is entailed in owning and operating such a business, particularly in California? I don't want to pry into the business details too much while precepting there as I'm more interested in the clinical experience itself and grateful for the opportunity -- I don't want to come off as being too interested in how it operates and what kind of financials they're pulling in.
I'd like to know more because this is an area of business opportunity as a PMHNP that I'm heavily considering as making part of my own path going forward. I just want to shed some more light on what it entails so I can know if it's something I may continue to want for my future or if my time networking and building inroads in the coming months might be better spent in other areas of PMHNP practices, such as private practices, working for major health organizations, etc.
Since nobody anywhere on the internet seems to be willing to talk about how much it costs to do this and how much profit they get from it, I turn to you all, oh dearest wise ones.
Also, I don't plan on setting up anything without at least a few years of experience. I would like to be comfortable in my role as a PMHNP first, but I must admit I've got my sites set on this path for the near future. I have friends who own care homes and do quite well for themselves financially. Although lucrative, care home operation doesn't interest me as much as owning and operating a detox clinic -- it's something I'm far more passionate about than a care home.
I appreciate your feedback, input, and advice in advance! Thanks!
